Featured Question:
I have natural hair and have been trying to grow my hair out for several years. I don't use heat, I deep condition, I have a healthy diet, I also sleep on a satin pillowcase. What else can I do? - G. W., Macon, Ga

Answer:
Sounds like you're doing many of the right things! I would suggest two things...
  1. Trim your ends. You didn't mention if you get them trimmed, but just in case you do not, be sure to visit your Hairstylist every 2 to 3 months or as needed for your trims. This will help to maintain the ends from splitting up the hair shaft and help you to retain length.
  2. Hair vitamins. Vitamins will provide nutritional support to your hair follicles to aid in beautiful, healthy hair strands. A balanced diet is a great way to start, but it won't hurt to target your hair strands. I believe in an inside-out approach :)
